Jab Tak Hai Jaan... A fitting finale!!!

Disclaimer: Coming from a die hard SRK fan, all the cynics are requested to stay away from the review...

It seemed Yash Chopra had a premonition of his death... Starting from the title to the script the movie is an ode to his work in the industry... I could see a lot of his own work in various scenes and sequences..The grandois, the romance, the beautiful landscapes, intricate relationships it had it all... However musically this film didnt match up to his other albums.. A R Rahman - Gulzar magic was somehow missing.. Apart from Challa and Heer Heer, no other song worked...

Without giving away the plot, I would just talk about the things i loved about the typical film...

SRK with that stubble on a royalo enfield against the scenic Ladakh and London backdrop is at one of his best performance... No ONE and i mean NO ONE can romance like him... In this age of Anurag Kashyap genre of movies an out an out cliched romance will work only with Shahrukh... ( Yes thats the Fan talking)

Anushka Sharma is in yet entertaining role as the super girl.. This one surely can act and loook good at the same time... Unlike other leading lady - Katrina... Even Yash Chopra cant get her to act.. She is just a preety face who looks good in the backdrop... Probably should be used as one of the props.. The dance sequence where there were street crews locking and popping she started with her typical belly dance!!! The sequence however reminded me of Lamhe( Shridevi dancing away in anger) and Dil to Pagal hai(Dance of Envy sequence between Karishma and Madhuri).. where Dance was used as a language and it worked well in communicating the conversation between SRK and Katrina..

It may look like an old wine in new bottle as You will have a fleeting deja vu of his previous works in this film, but it has a twist from the other typical love triangles that we watch..

A MUST WATCH for all who love ROMANCE as a genre... Coz with the death of the maestro this grandness will never be repeated... And for all who dont have enough of COMEDY CIRCUS on TV can go and watch the repeat telecast of old jokes in SOS...

A special mention for all those who have still not been to Ladakh.. Each place shown in the movie was familiar and tugged a corner of the heart.. Lot of memories and nostalgia for that place...
